Hey y’all! While we try to keep on top of reviews in the thick of awards season, for now, Trailer Talk will be here. As usual, thoughts will be brief.

Toy Story 5 - Absolutely wild that there’s a sequel to what was essentially an epilogue with the fourth film. And they’re planning on a sixth! This is truly a teaser that hints at the central conflict of toys versus screens and technology. Cool, I guess. I really hope they have a GREAT explanation on why Woody would leave Bo Peep for this adventure.

The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants - I have never not enjoyed a SpongeBob movie. And this trailer genuinely made me laugh. Hope the press screening is in 3D. The release date has me worried though. It drops the same day as Avatar: Fire and Water.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 - Another teaser that serves as more of an announcement. The original is a highly entertaining comedy drama that still holds up today minus Nate (sorry if I was Andy’s man, I would’ve been a little less selfish). Twenty years later almost exactly to the original’s release date, we’re getting this sequel. And I gotta admit, it’s cool that this gets to kick off summer movie season instead of a big-budget blockbuster.

Alright that’s it for now y’all. Yes. I know a new trailer for Wuthering Heights dropped. The Film Blerds are a one trailer crew. Plus the movie drops in 3 months anyways. Until next time, what are you looking forward to out of these three?
